Sadie McMahon pitched a complete game as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the
Louisville Colonels by the score of 6 to 3 at Eclipse Park.

Baltimore had the game winning rally in the 9th inning with 3 runs utilizing 5
base hits.  Billy Shindle started the inning off right when he laced a
single.  George Van Haltren stepped into the batter's box and he doubled.  Sy
Sutcliffe then laced a one-base hit knocking home two runners.  Ned Hanlon
then called for a steal which was successful.  After an out was recorded,
Piggy Ward stepped in and he slapped a base-hit scoring the final run of the
inning.  Baltimore had 14 hits for the afternoon.  

McMahon(21-16), allowing 3 runs for the game, picked up the victory. The
losing pitcher was Ben Sanders(6-11).  He allowed 14 hits and 2 walks in 9
innings.
