Right fielder Billy Lush had 4 hits and scored 3 times at Bennett Park where
the Detroit Tigers beat the Philadelphia-NL Phillies in 10 innings 6 to
5.

The score was knotted at 5 after nine innings.  Finally, Detroit pulled the
game out in the 10th inning.  Johnny Evers banged out a single.  After an out
was recorded, Bill Coughlin came up and he doubled giving Detroit the victory
