In a lop-sided win the Brooklyn Superbas ripped the St. Louis Cardinals by a 8
to 3 count.

Brooklyn did all of it's offensive work in the 8th inning as they creamed St.
Louis blasting them with 8 runs on 7 hits.  The big moment was provided by Al
Burch who excited the crowd when he tripled scoring two baserunners.
Brooklyn had 11 hits for the game and St. Louis had 8.  

Nap Rucker(8-13) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 8 and 1/3 innings. The loss
was charged to Stoney McGlynn(6-24).  He was knocked around by Brooklyn,
allowing 11 hits and 3 walks in 8 innings.  

Brooklyn now has a record of 43-68.  Still in a bad slump, with this loss, St.
Louis is 2-8 lately and 36-79, worst in the league on the year.
