extra-base hits as the Chicago Cubs crushed the floundering Brooklyn Superbas

Briggs(7-7) gave a fine effort for Chicago.  He was reached for 9 hits and 1
walk in 9 innings.  Chicago banged out 12 hits on the afternoon.  

Harry McIntire(8-20) was charged with the loss.  He got hammered, allowing 11
