Orval Overall tossed a complete game and Fred Odwell homered and had 2 RBI as
the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 7 to 2 at Baker
Bowl.

Cincinnati tallied 6 runs in the top of the 2nd inning with the help of 5
hits.  That early scoring was all that Overall(16-8) needed.  Cincinnati
managed 8 hits in their victory.  

Frank Corridon(8-14) took the loss.  He allowed 7 runs and 8 hits in 8 and 1/3
innings.  Cincinnati continued their winnings ways improving their record to
