Cy Morgan threw a complete game shutout as the Chicago-NL Cubs bested the St.
Louis-AL Browns 1 to 0 at West Side Park.

Morgan(14-12) gave Chicago-NL a solid outing.  He was stingy on the mound,
allowing just 7 hits and 3 walks in 9 innings.  St. Louis-AL had 7 hits in
the game while Chicago-NL had 2, but Chicago-NL had the more timely hits.

Ed Reulbach(11-7) was charged with the loss.  He was a hard-luck loser as he
did not allow an earned run in his 7 innings of work.
