Nationals.

highlight belonged to Ray Boone who made the crowd come alive when he rifled
a three-run blast. Overall Washington out-hit Chicago-NL 13 to 7.
Bob Rush(2-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing 3
runs. Robin Roberts(11-8) took the loss. He was not very effective,
