Ed Poole tossed a complete game and Tommy Corcoran had 2 base hits and 2 RBI
at Palace Of The Fans as the Cincinnati Reds, running on all cylinders,
ripped the Pittsburgh Pirates by a large 12 to 2 margin.

Cincinnati had 5 runs cross the plate in the 3rd inning.  That early scoring
was all that Poole(6-3) needed.  Cincinnati had 10 hits for the afternoon.

Harvey Cushman(0-1) was given the loss.  His biggest problem was control as he
allowed 15 walks in 8 innings.
