TEAM RISP- Phillies: 5 for 11 Browns: 1 for 2
WEB GEMS- Top 2nd: Harry Bemis blocked the plate, saving a run!

In an embarrassing outing for the St. Louis-AL Browns pitching staff,
Philadelphia-NL Phillies flexed their collective muscle amassing 12 runs as
Three Finger Brown(6-11), with relief help from Jack McFetridge, surrendered
3 runs to St. Louis-AL.

Philadelphia-NL scored 10 runs in the top of the 2nd inning when they had 5
base hits. That was all the offense they were to need. Philadelphia-NL had
11 hits for the game and St. Louis-AL had 6.

Jack Harper(1-8) suffered the loss. He allowed 2 hits and 7 walks in 1 and
2/3 innings. 'Ahhh, how sweet it is,' Mark McGonigle sighed. 'That win
feels like a tall, cool drink of water after spending far too much time in
the desert lately.'
