Rankin Johnson completed the game without help from the bullpen as the
Baltimore Terrapins topped the Brooklyn team by a score of 12 to 8 at
Terrapin Park.

Fred Jacklitsch enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He lined a single which
scored a run in the 1st inning, doubled in the 3rd inning and blasted a
two-run home run in the 4th inning.  Both teams ended up with 12 hits on the
afternoon.  

The winning pitcher was Johnson(9-11) who allowed 8 runs for the game. Dan
Marion(9-8) was hit with the loss.  He got hammered, allowing 12 hits and 4
walks in 7 innings.
