Claude Cooper had 3 base hits and 4 RBI at Terrapin Park where the Brooklyn
ballclub beat the Baltimore Terrapins in 10 innings 12 to 9.

The score was tied at 9 after nine.  Brooklyn won it in the 10th inning.
After an out was recorded, Grover Land opened up the rally as he drew a walk.
One out later, Frank Smith came to the plate and drew a walk.  George
Anderson then reached on an error.  Lee Magee followed next and he was walked
intentionally to load the bases.  Cooper stepped into the box and ripped a
base-hit scoring two teammates.  Cooper took second on the throw.  Benny
Kauff added to the outburst and was walked intentionally to load the bases.
Hap Myers was next and he drew a walk scoring the final run of the inning.
Brooklyn had a total of 10 hits for the game.  

Smith(7-5) got the win allowing 3 runs in 5 innings. The loss was charged to
Charlie Young(1-4) in relief.  He struggled with his control issuing 7 walks
in 4 and 2/3 innings.
