In an entertaining game at Polo Grounds the final score was the New York-NL
Giants 4, the St. Louis-AL Browns 1.

In the 3rd inning New York-NL went on top for good scoring 2 runners on 3
hits.  That early run support was all that Jake Weimer(10-12) required.  For
the game New York-NL out-hit St. Louis-AL 10 to 5.  

Bill Duggleby preserved the game for Weimer, recording his his 8th save.
Frank Kitson(3-5) was given the loss.  He was unable to control the New
York-NL offense and allowed 10 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.  

Wth the win New York-NL now has a record of 67-51.  With the loss St. Louis-AL
now has a record of 51-73, worst in the division.
