Wilbur Cooper was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Pittsburgh Pirates topped the Brooklyn Robins in 13
innings by a score of 3 to 2 at Forbes Field.

The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings.  Pittsburgh won it in the 13th
inning.  After two were out Max Carey drew a walk.  Zip Collins next to the
plate and he ripped a base-knock.  George Gibson then was hit by a pitch.
Ham Hyatt followed next and he banged out a single giving Pittsburgh the win
much to the delight of the home town crowd.  Pittsburgh had a total of 9 hits
for the game.  

Cooper(10-13) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. Jeff
Pfeffer(15-6) was the loser.  He allowed 3 runs and 9 hits in 12 and 2/3
innings.
