Bob Feller pitched a complete game and Hank Majeski touched them all and had 3
RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals were badly beaten by the Washington Nationals,
12 to 2.

Washington went ahead for good in the 2nd inning scoring 2 runners on 3 hits.
Washington banged out 15 hits on the afternoon.  

Feller(12-10) lasted until the end allowing 2 runs for the win. Russ
Meyer(10-8) was the losing pitcher.  He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 6 runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.  

Washington won for the 6th straight time. Gordy Renaud was thrilled following
the game -- 'We're really on a roll now.  These guys are playing their hearts
out and I couldn't be happier for them!'
