Charlie Ganzel had 2 base hits and 4 RBI and John Clarkson tossed a complete
game as the Boston Beaneaters topped the struggling Pittsburg Alleghenys by a
score of 10 to 4 at South End Grounds.

Boston took the lead for keeps in the 2nd inning scoring a single run.  Boston
managed 13 hits in their victory.  

Clarkson(16-15) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 4 runs. Fred
Osborne(0-4) was tagged with the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 13 hits and
