Ed Delahanty smashed 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI and Kid Carsey was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game at Baker Bowl as
the Philadelphia Phillies, running on all cylinders, ripped the Cleveland
Spiders by a large 21 to 1 margin.

Delahanty had a big day at the plate. He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in
the 1st inning, lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in the 2nd inning and doubled
bringing in two baserunners in the 3rd inning. Philadelphia provided plenty
of action in the 2nd inning which saw them plate 6 runs on 4 hits and the 4th
inning with 7 runs on 5 hits. Philadelphia had 17 hits for the afternoon.

Carsey(16-14), allowing 1 run for the game, picked up the victory. Phil
Knell(2-17) was charged with the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns in his
8 innings of work.

No one has been able to stop Philadelphia lately as they lengthened their
winning streak to 6 games.
