TEAM RISP- Phillies: 8 for 22 Cubs: 4 for 13

Jack Sutthoff was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Harry Wolverton had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Philadelphia
Phillies came back to win one over Chicago Cubs, 10 to 8.

Philadelphia had the game winning rally in the top of the 9th inning plating 3
runs using 2 hits. John Titus opened up the inning nicely when he reached on
an error. Bob Hall stepped up next and he reached on an error. Red Dooin
then lined a one-base hit, and an error was also committed, knocking home two
runners. After an out was recorded, Hugh Duffy stepped up to the plate and
he drew a walk. Kid Gleason came up to bat and drew a walk to load the
bases. Wolverton continued the rally and lined a single scoring the final
run of the inning. Neither team was able to score until the 6th inning.

The win went to Sutthoff(13-8) who allowed 8 runs in the game. Carl
Lundgren(13-5) ended up with the loss. He was unable to control the
Philadelphia offense and allowed 13 hits and 7 walks in 9 innings.

'It's been a rough ride lately, but this was a good win for us' said
Philadelphia's manager, 'Maybe this will put us back on track.'
