Doc Johnston had 3 base hits at Hilltop Park as the Cleveland Naps beat the
New York Highlanders by the count of 12 to 5.

Cleveland came up with all the runs they needed in the 2nd inning showing no
mercy on New York as they plated 12 runs on 10 hits.  That early scoring was
all that George Kahler(13-15) needed.  Cleveland had 17 hits for the
afternoon while New York had 13.  

The losing pitcher was Jack Warhop(8-13).  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 17
hits and 4 walks in 9 innings.
