Stan Musial had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Brooklyn Dodgers outscored the
Washington Nationals 10 to 8.

Musial had a big day at the plate.  He doubled bringing in two baserunners in
the 1st inning, stroked a base-hit which brought home a run in the 3rd
inning, singled in the 5th inning and doubled resulting in a run in the 6th
inning.  Washington tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.  

Jim Konstanty(2-2) allowed 4 runs in 6 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Al Brazle earned his 4th save.  Bob Porterfield(13-8) absorbed the
loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 11 hits and 5 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
