Charlie Duffee had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the St. Louis Browns bested the
Baltimore Orioles in 12 innings 15 to 8 at Oriole Park.

Both teams were tied at 8 runs apiece after nine innings.  St. Louis came out
on top in the 12th inning.  The key at-bat was by Count Campau who quieted
the crowd when he slapped a single bringing in two baserunners.  St. Louis
kept the scorekeepers busy in the 12th inning when they had 7 runs on 3 hits.
St. Louis finished with 19 hits while Baltimore ended up with 11.  

The win went to Joe Neale(2-0) who allowed no runs in 3 innings. Mike
Morrison(5-12) absorbed the loss in relief.  He couldn't find the plate,
issuing 7 walks in 3 innings.
