Lou Bierbauer had 3 base hits and 4 RBI and Red Ehret was able to finish what
he started and was credited with a complete game at Eastern Park as the
Pittsburg Pirates beat the Brooklyn Grooms by the count of 11 to
8.

Bierbauer enjoyed a fine day at the plate.  He tripled emptying the bases in
the 3rd inning, stroked a single in the 7th inning and stroked a base-hit
plating a run in the 8th inning.  Both teams totaled 15 hits on the
afternoon.  

Ehret(16-13) allowed 8 runs on the game. Ed Stein(16-12) absorbed the loss.
He allowed 15 hits and 6 walks in 9 innings.  Wth the win Pittsburg now has a
record of 48-56.  With this loss, Brooklyn has a 5-5 record of late, 54-49
overall.
