Jack Taylor(20-10) gave a fine effort for Chicago-NL.  He went 8 innings
surrendering 5 hits and 3 walks.  Chicago-NL ended up with 9 hits for the
game while Pittsburgh had 5.  

Bob Wicker(12-18) was charged with the loss. He pitched 6 innings allowing 6
