Center fielder John Dobbs had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Brooklyn Superbas beat
the Cincinnati Reds in 24 innings by a score of 7 to 6.
The score was tied at 5 after nine. Finally, Brooklyn pulled the game out in
the 24th inning. After an out was recorded, Doc Gessler delivered a single.
Brooklyn's manager then called for a steal which was successful. Charlie
Malay then laced a base-hit resulting in an exciting win for Brooklyn and a
raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Brooklyn kept the
scorekeepers busy in the 4th inning which saw them plate 3 runs on 4 hits.
