Ed Killian tossed a complete game at Sportsmans Park where the seemingly
unstoppable St. Louis-AL Browns beat the Cincinnati Reds in 10 innings 3 to
2.

Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings.  Finally, St. Louis-AL
pulled the game out in the 10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Fred
Tenney reached on an error.  Tenney was safe on a stolen base.  One out
later, Harry Steinfeldt then stroked a single making St. Louis-AL the victors
to the delight of the home town faithful.  St. Louis-AL banged out 7 hits on
the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Killian(20-9) who went the distance, allowing 2
runs. Lew Moren(6-6) ended up with the loss.  He pitched 9 and 2/3 innings
allowing 7 hits and 3 walks.
