Nap Rucker delivered 9 solid innings as the Brooklyn Superbas topped the St.
Louis Cardinals by a score of 1 to 0 at Robison Field.

Rucker(13-14) came through with a virtuoso performance against the St. Louis
hitters. He allowed only 4 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. Brooklyn managed
7 hits in their victory.

Bugs Raymond(13-15) was hit with the loss. It was a tough loss for him as he

'When Rucker is on like that it is a tough game to play, no doubt about it,'
John McCloskey said. 'He always pitches well against us.'
