Dolly Gray tossed a shutout and Germany Schaefer had 3 base hits and 4 RBI at
American League Park as the Washington Nationals, running on all cylinders,
ripped the ice-cold St. Louis Browns by a large 14 to 0 margin.

Gray(9-12) gave Washington a solid outing.  He allowed just 5 hits and 2 walks
in 9 innings.  Washington rapped out 15 hits for the afternoon.  

Marc Hall(0-3) ended up with the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 14 hits
