Bill Bailey pitched 9 strong innings at Terrapin Park where the Baltimore
Terrapins beat the Pittsburgh Rebels 5 to 0.

Baltimore took the lead for keeps in the bottom of the 2nd inning plating an
isolated run using 2 hits.  Jimmy Walsh hit a bases-empty home run.  That
early run support was all that Bailey(4-1) required.  Baltimore rapped out 10
hits for the afternoon.  

Cy Barger(9-11) absorbed the loss.  He surrendered 5 runs and 8 hits in 7
innings.
