Saul Rogovin went 6 strong innings and Gil McDougald slammed a homerun and had
2 RBI at Municipal Stadium where the Cincinnati Reds beat the Kansas City
Athletics 6 to 0.

Rogovin(6-3) was very good in the win.  He surrendered only 1 hit and 1 walk
in 6 innings lowering his ERA to 4.22.  Cincinnati had 11 hits for the
afternoon while Kansas City had 2.  

Rogovin got help from Ray Crone who was credited with his 4th save.  The
losing pitcher was Bob Lemon(6-8).  He allowed 5 runs and 10 hits in 6
innings.
