Bert Cunningham completed the game without help from the bullpen and Tommy
Tucker had 6 hits and 8 RBI at Oriole Park as the Baltimore Orioles belted
the Louisville Colonels by the count of 18 to 8.

Tucker enjoyed a great day at the plate. He lined a single in the 1st inning,
tripled clearing all three ducks off the pond in the 3rd inning, laced a
one-base hit scoring two baserunners in the 4th inning, doubled which was
good for two runs in the 6th inning, ripped a base-hit in the 7th inning and
slapped a single plating a run in the 8th inning. Baltimore provided plenty
of action in the 3rd inning plating 4 runs, the 6th inning when they had 4
runs on 4 hits, the 7th inning with 4 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning with
4 runs. Baltimore managed 17 hits in their victory.

Cunningham(11-12) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 8 runs. Red
Ehret(7-20) was tagged with the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 17 hits and
6 walks in 8 innings.
