TEAM RISP- Browns: 3 for 13 Athletics: 3 for 11

Billy Hart had a complete game at League Park as the St. Louis Browns beat the
ice-cold Philadelphia Athletics by the count of 6 to 3.

St. Louis promptly took the lead in their half of the first when they came up
with 2 runs on 2 hits. The critical plate appearance was by John Munyan who
deflated the mood of the partisan fans when he doubled scoring two
baserunners. St. Louis rapped out 12 hits for the afternoon.

The win went to Hart(6-2) who allowed 3 runs in the game. Sadie McMahon(25-19)
was given the loss. He was hit hard and gave up 12 hits and 6 walks in 9
innings.

This win by St. Louis continues their recent hot streak. In their last ten
games, they have a record of 8-2. For the season, they are 58-45. Not able
to get much going in recent weeks, Philadelphia is 2-8 of late and now has an
overall record of 42-60.
