Bill Dammann went the distance as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the New York
Giants by the score of 3 to 2 at Polo Grounds.

The game was won by Cincinnati when they scored a run in the top of the 9th
inning.  Dummy Hoy doubled, and an error was also committed, scoring the run.
Neither team was able to score until the 6th inning.  

The win went to Dammann(8-6) who allowed 2 runs in the game. Cy Seymour(13-11)
was the loser.  He gave up 3 runs and 8 hits in 9 innings.
