Dan McGann had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the smoking-hot Baltimore Orioles
topped the Louisville Colonels by a score of 6 to 5 at Eclipse Park.

Jerry Nops(15-8) delivered a fine performance for Baltimore.  He went 8
innings surrendering 8 hits and 5 walks.  Louisville threatened in the 9th
but their rally came up short.  

Jim Hughes preserved the game for Nops, recording his his 2nd save.  Bert
Cunningham(15-15) was hit with the loss.  He gave up 10 hits and 5 walks in 9
innings.  

Baltimore continued their winning ways, seemingly unable to lose during this
stretch.
