WEB GEMS- Bot 7th: Jack Doyle robbed Tom O'Brien of a base hit.

Pop Schriver had 3 base hits and 6 RBI and Billy Rhines was able to finish
what he started and was credited with a complete game as the Pittsburg
Pirates smashed the overmatched New York Giants, 18 to 4.

lined a one-base hit which was good for two runs in the 6th inning and
doubled plating two runs in the 7th inning. Pittsburg provided plenty of
action in the 2nd inning which saw them plate 6 runs on 6 hits and the 7th

The win was credited to Rhines(14-12) who went the whole way allowing 4 runs.

increased from 4.24 to 4.53.
