The St. Louis Browns bested the Philadelphia Phillies by a 9 to 6 score at
Robison Field.

Kid Carsey(3-6) pitched well enough to earn the win.  He was reached for 10
hits and 2 walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.  Philadelphia threatened in the 9th
but St. Louis was able to put down the rally.  

Red Donahue(13-13) was charged with the loss.  St. Louis knocked him around a
bit, as he gave up 9 runs in 8 innings.
