Bob Rhoads pitched a complete game and Harry Bay had 5 hits and 2 RBI as the
indomitable Cleveland Naps defeated the Boston Americans 11 to 6 at
Huntington Ave Grnds.

Cleveland won the game with a rally in the 9th inning when they tallied 5 runs
on 3 hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Billy Lush who quieted the
crowd when he banged out a single which was good for two runs.  Cleveland
totaled 17 hits on the afternoon.  

Rhoads(5-6) allowed 6 runs on the game. Jesse Tannehill(16-10) was tagged with
the loss.  He was knocked around by Cleveland, allowing 17 hits and 4 walks
in 9 innings.
