Howie Camnitz pitched a complete game and second baseman Art Butler had 2 base
hits as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Cincinnati Reds by a score of 7 to
6.

The deciding run was scored by Pittsburgh in the 9th. Honus Wagner drew a
walk. Dots Miller came next and he slapped a one-base hit. Bert Humphries
then tossed a pitch that the catcher mis-handled. Chief Wilson came up and
he was walked intentionally to load the bases. Butler came to the plate and
hit a deep fly scoring the run. The score went back-and-forth with the lead
changing 5 times.

Camnitz(19-6) got the victory, allowing 6 runs for the game. Humphries(8-11)
was the loser in relief. 'I struggled a bit out there today,' Camnitz said,
'but I toughed it out and we got the win.'
