Zernial had a great evening at the plate. He rifled a three-run blast in the 5th inning, tripled bringing home two baserunners in the 6th inning and tripled knocking in a run in the 8th inning. New York-AL totaled 19 hits on the night. Parnell(11-7) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. Ken Raffensberger(8-14) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around, surrendering 6 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings. 'I was in my hotel room the other night, working on my swing and made some adjustments,' Zernial said. 'I'm always working on it. If they are getting you out certain ways, you've got to make changes.'
