Ted Kluszewski knocked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Municipal Stadium as the
Cincinnati Reds beat the Cleveland Indians in 10 innings by the count of 4 to
3.

The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings.  Cincinnati won the game in the
10th inning.  After an out was recorded, Nellie Fox laced a base-knock.  Hank
Bauer stepped up to the plate and he delivered a base-hit.  Kluszewski then
stroked a single scoring the run.  Cincinnati banged out 9 hits on the night.

The victory went to Willard Schmidt(16-3) who went 2 and 1/3 innings, allowing
no runs. Don Bessent earned the save, his 42nd.  Bob Feller(5-11) was tagged
