Jim McCormick held Wilmington scoreless on just 2 hits and left fielder Lou
Sylvester had 4 hits and 2 RBI as the Cincinnati Outlaw Reds smashed the
overmatched Wilmington Quicksteps, 11 to 0.

McCormick(9-0) came through with a virtuoso performance against the Wilmington
hitters.  He allowed only 2 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings.  McCormick whiffed
an impressive total of 12 Wilmington batters.  Cincinnati had a total of 19
hits for the game.  

The Only Nolan(1-2) took the loss.  He was knocked around by Cincinnati,
allowing 19 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.  'Our guys just weren't seeing the
ball today.' Joe Simmons said.  'McCormick simply dominated us.'
