George Cobb tossed a complete game and Harry Stovey had 4 hits and 2 RBI as
the Baltimore Orioles bested the Pittsburg Pirates 11 to 5 at Exposition
Park.

Stovey had a big day at the plate.  He doubled in the 1st inning, delivered a
base-hit in the 3rd inning, tripled in the 5th inning and laced a one-base
hit bringing in two baserunners in the 6th inning.  Baltimore banged out 17
hits on the afternoon.  

The victory was credited to Cobb(12-20) who went the distance, allowing 5
runs. Mike Smith(6-6) suffered the loss.  He got hit hard, allowing 17 hits
and 2 walks in 9 innings.
