WEB GEMS- Bot 2nd: Tommy Dowd robbed Willie Keeler of an extra base hit.

6th inning at Union Park as the strong Baltimore Orioles embarrassed the St.
Louis Browns by the lopsided score of 16 to 3.

Esper(14-8) had a solid outing for Baltimore. He surrendered 5 hits and 1
walk in 8 and 2/3 innings. The left-handed Esper lost his chance for a

provided plenty of action in the 8th inning which saw them score 9 runs on 7
hits. Baltimore dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.

Red Ehret(7-18) was charged with the loss. He was unable to control the
Baltimore offense and allowed 14 hits and 2 walks in 7 and 1/3 innings.
