Claude Cooper had 4 hits and 3 RBI and Jim Bluejacket allowed Lee Magee to
rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Brooklyn club outscored the
Baltimore Terrapins 9 to 5.

Baltimore was unable to claim the lead after Brooklyn went ahead in the 3rd
inning when they came up with 2 runs on 3 hits.  The highlight belonged to
Hap Myers who elicited a roar from the hometown fans when he laced a one-base
hit scoring two baserunners.  Brooklyn kept the pressure on throughout the
contest as they scored in 6 different innings.  

Bluejacket(5-8) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 5 runs. George
Suggs(9-12) was tagged with the loss.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 13
hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.
