Tim Keefe went the distance at Polo Grounds where the New York Giants beat the
Philadelphia Quakers by the score of 4 to 2.

New York came up with 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning.  After an out
was recorded, Jim O'Rourke was the sparkplug when he singled.  Roger Connor
stepped up to the plate and he ripped a base-hit.  Buck Ewing then reached on
an error resulting in a run.  Danny Richardson followed and he drew a walk to
load the bases.  One out later, Pat Deasley came up and he reached on an
error adding another two runs to their total.  New York totaled 9 hits on the
afternoon.  

Keefe(28-9) finished the game allowing 2 runs in the victory. The losing
pitcher was Charlie Ferguson(18-15).  He pitched 8 innings allowing 9 hits
and 1 walk.
