Mark Baldwin had a complete game and Cap Anson had 4 hits and 4 RBI at
Baseball Grounds where the Chicago White Stockings beat the Philadelphia
Quakers by the score of 12 to 6.

Anson provided the offensive punch.  He delivered a one-base hit plating a run
in the 3rd inning, doubled resulting in a run in the 5th inning, stroked a
single which brought home a run in the 7th inning and lined a base-hit in the
9th inning.  The Chicago offense was great, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings.

Baldwin(21-11) allowed 6 runs on the game. Dan Casey(14-19) was the loser.
Chicago scored big getting 12 runs off him in 9 innings.
