Luke Appling had 3 base hits and 2 RBI and Ellis Kinder was able to finish
what he started and was credited with a complete game at Forbes Field where
the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the St. Louis Cardinals by the score of 8 to
2.

Kinder(13-13) had a strong outing.  He didn't allow much, just 6 hits and 4
