Jim Field had 4 hits and 4 RBI and Frank Mountain was able to finish what he
started and was credited with a complete game as the Columbus Buckeyes beat
the Baltimore Orioles by a score of 10 to 6.

Field was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors.  He tripled which scored a run in the
1st inning, tripled in the 3rd inning, laced a base-hit bringing in two
baserunners in the 6th inning and tripled scoring a run in the 8th inning.
Columbus rapped out 16 hits for the afternoon.  

Mountain(20-26) lasted until the end allowing 6 runs for the win. Hardie
Henderson(11-25) was the losing pitcher.  He was knocked around by Columbus,
allowing 16 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings.
