Frank Kitson was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game as the Detroit Tigers crushed the Cleveland Naps 13 to 3.
The Detroit fans enjoyed the offense provided by Sam Crawford. He doubled in
the 4th inning, doubled bringing in a run in the 6th inning and tripled
plating two runs in the 7th inning. Detroit rapped out 19 hits for the
afternoon.
Kitson(12-9) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 3 runs. Bob
Rhoads(0-1) was given the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 19 hits and 4
walks in 8 innings.
