Ed Siever had an impressive outing as the Detroit Tigers defeated the St.
Louis Browns by a score of 2 to 1 at Bennett Park.
Detroit had 2 runs cross the plate in the 6th inning. Detroit managed only 6
hits on the afternoon. Siever(10-8) got the victory, allowing 1 run for the
game. The losing pitcher was Jack Powell(10-10).
Siever was obviously very pleased with his performance in the aftermath of the
game, 'It was just one of those games where everything worked. My arm felt
great, heck, I could have pitched another two or three innings. I only hope
that I can do it again next time out!'
