Chief Wilson had 4 hits and 5 RBI at West Side Park where the Chicago-NL Cubs
beat the St. Louis-AL Browns 13 to 6.

Wilson helped send the fans home happy.  He laced a base-knock in the 4th
inning, slapped a one-base hit bringing in two baserunners in the 5th inning,
doubled bringing in a run in the 6th inning and tripled bringing home two
baserunners in the 7th inning.  Chicago-NL had 19 hits for the afternoon
while St. Louis-AL had 14.  

Willie Mitchell(9-6) got the win allowing 2 runs in 5 innings. Rube
Marquard(17-14) was charged with the loss.  He allowed 15 hits and 2 walks in
6 innings.
