Del Pratt had 2 base hits as the St. Louis Browns pulled out a win over the
Chicago White Sox by a score of 8 to 7 at Sportsman's Park.

St. Louis scored the deciding run in the 9th inning.  Gus Williams drew a
walk.  Sam Covington stepped up to the plate and he laced a single.
Covington then stole second base.  Sam Agnew was up next and he drew a walk
to load the bases.  Bobby Wallace stepped into the box and hit a single
giving St. Louis the victory and sending the 1,632 home-town fans home happy.
St. Louis totaled 11 hits on the afternoon.  

Dwight Stone(7-6) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the victory. The loss was
charged to Pop-Boy Smith(2-3) in relief.  He gave up 2 hits and 5 walks in 1
inning.
